Sorry it's been a while

I tried to make a blog post last night but this stupid site wouldn't work. Stupid Blogger.

Anyway, sorry I've been gone. I'm sure all zero of my readers have been worried. I've been busy doing work things and writing things. I wrote one and a half books and I've got four days a week at work now, and am doing serious careery things like accessing work emails from my phone. BUSINESS!

So, my Sims. How do they? What are?

The last time we saw the McKenzie/Fouchier family, it was Christmas and Hank had proposed. Much has happened since then.

Clementine kissed a boy in the snow. He is now her boyfriend.

His name is Cale or Carl or something similar...
Hank threw a bachelor party that he apparently hated.

It's his party and he'll cry if he wants to
There was a fire.

Oh no! What to do?

Just scream at it while the kids put it out, obviously.
It was Isla's birthday. Hank threw a party. Beckett and Isla are super good friends now so he held her while she blew out the candles.

One candle...
....Two candles. What? Magic.
Jesus, dude, could you wear any more lipstick?
So, Isla is now a child. I thought I took a screenshot of her in CAS but I didn't. But this is basically what she looks like.

I feel like she's going to grow into her looks.
Unfortunately for her, she hadn't been to the potty before aging up.

Ugh. That's one of those memories that stay with you.
After Isla aged up, I moved Henri, Hank and her out to their own place. It's a wee two bedroom house not far from the McKenzie's. In my next post I'll check in and see how they're doing. It's always sad to move Sims out of the legacy home, but none of them were legacy blood so I knew it always had to happen.

In the meantime, Beckett, Eveline, Clementine and Fletcher have been very busy. Clementine is about to finish school, and Fletcher has developed an interest in gardening.

In his underwear, apparently. Takes after his mother.
Beckett and Eveline had their wedding anniversary (which is a much bigger deal in Sims than in real life, since it only happens once, maybe twice if you're lucky) and they went to Something Point (I forget the name). I edited the lot and added a top story so they could stay overnight, sort of like a holiday house. It was nice.

Until the paparazzi found them.

Eveline, that guy is right there, we probably shouldn't...
Oh well.
They woohooed three times, and that guy in the overalls filmed the whole thing. Sims is a fucking creepy game sometimes.

As an anniversary present, I gave Eveline and Beckett's room a makeover. It looks a lot more adult now.

Before

After
Now they're confused about what bed is theirs, and they keep sleeping in Fletcher's instead.

Ew. He sleeps with his girlfriend in there, you know.
That's about it so far. I'll try and play a bit tonight so it won't be so long between updates. For now, here, have this picture of Fletcher being blue.

So Eiffel 65

Remember to go to the toilet at Christmas parties

So prom went well. Fletcher is now dating Sophie. Looking at their prom photo, she could have made more an effort.

Those are some ugly ass shorts.
Clementine ended up with a guy called Cale, not that Bradnt (?) guy she was originally going for. They're Romantic Interests now, so we'll see how it goes. Of course, Fletcher and Clementine were elected Prom King and Queen respectively, which would have made it awkward if there was supposed to be a romantic dance between them. One day I aim to have three teenagers at the same prom time, THEN we'll see who the game picks.

In other news, Isla's birthday.

Is Eveline pointing and laughing? That seems mean
Isla isn't legacy blood at all, but she's still Clem and Fletcher's cousin, so I care how she turns out.

Hmmm.
I've certainly had prettier Sims. Still, she's a toddler, so we'll see how she goes. She could surprise us all.

I had a go in CAS with Fletcher's girlfriend Sophia, and she is SUPER pretty. She's also Mean Spirited and Inappropriate. But I've got a feeling he'll look past that.

Or not look past THAT, whichever.
Beckett's tried to make friends with Sophia, but so far he's not gotten far. That hasn't stopped Fletcher from banging her. Behold, his first woohoo, lovingly captured on camera. In his parent's ensuite, no less.

Wait...who's nailing who?
I like Sophia. She's a woman who takes charge.

Another Sim who's finally taking charge is Hank. He proposed!

Henri was shocked, even though they live together and have a kid.
Seconds afterwards, it was Hank's birthday.

WHERE WILL YOU BE WHEN BIRTHDAY STRIKES? Also, that small Hank in the corner is weird.

Then it was Christmas! I mean, Snowflake Day. They threw a party.

People had annoyingly large thought bubbles.

I'M REALLY THINKING about a CD. Or a flower?
It was a good party...

Look at that tree!

....until Fletcher pissed himself.

Dude. Seriously. Stop drinking.
That actually stopped the party. No one gave a single gift after that. I tried, but the moment was gone. Terrible.

Such a full house

It was Halloween. (I mean Spooky Day. Whatever.) Clementine and Fletcher went trick or treating.

Dressed as penises. I mean, hotdogs

Then Henri went into labour.

WHERE IS IT GOING TO COME OUT??
Hank took him to the hospital (just as well) and soon they found out they had a beautiful baby....

Werewolf!!

GIRL!!! Her name is Isla. She is actually a werewolf, it turns out, but so far she's just like a regular baby. Doesn't turn into a puppy or anything. Speaking of turning, the next day Fletcher aged up.

Obligatory blowing out the candles pic
Oh look he's a man
Fletcher has also inherited Alice's nose, but other than that he's pretty okay looking.

You know you wanna hit that
To celebrate Fletcher and Clementine's birthday's, and to give Henri and Hank some time alone with Isla, the McKenzie's decided to go on a short holiday to France.

Which meant I got to use the holiday home again, win
Some highlights from the three day holiday: Fletcher and Clementine got to visit their grandparents...

Recognise the house?
...and discovered they've had another kid, Zacharie.

Despite the hair, Zacharie is a boy. And Clementine's uncle/
Clementine cooked the family dinner.

It was mac and cheese. Small steps.
They discovered one bathroom between four people is difficult.

Particularly when that's your only sink
There was a mime in a cemetery.

No words.
And Beckett learnt to make nectar, just like Mike did.

Yeah, I'd be taking pictures too. Damn.
When they got home, they had a lovely family dinner to catch up.

Clementine doesn't want to wash up, I think.
Then Eveline drank an Invigorating Elixir and went clubbing alone. Mums gotta party too.

Look at that face, she's pinging
While we're talking about partying, PROM IS TONIGHT!! Right as I type, Clementine and Fletcher are on their way to prom. Neither of them have dates, though Clementine got *this* close to asking out some guy called Brandt (only then he insulted her, are you sure you want to date him Clemmie?) and Fletcher has been on the phone to a girl called Sophia practically every day since he became a teenager. He has the massivest crush on her. He even threw a pre-prom party and invited her in the hopes that he might be able to ask her at the last minute, but unfortunately the limo showed up too early. Very early.

WAIT!
As soon as the kids were gone, the adults started making drinks. Party drinks.

We have until eleven, drink the fuck up
I think they're planning to party until Clemmie and Fletcher get home. Cute.

UPDATE: Sophia just asked Fletcher to go steady!!! OOOOHH!!
